Registrar Cautions Staff Against Unproductive Attitude
Mal. Mahmud Mohammed Usman, Registrar and Secretary to NTI Council
Mal. Mahmud Mohammed Usman, the Registrar and Secretary to the Institute’s Council, has cautioned staff at the headquarters to desist from engaging in loitering or frivolous visits to colleagues during working hours.
Usman cautioned the staff through a Circular: “Loitering/Frivolous Visits of Colleagues During Working Hours, “ signed and issued by him on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 and distributed to all departments for placement on their notice boards.
“It must be stressed that by so doing, staff engaged in loitering are not only indicating their redundancy, but are also disruptive to the work of their colleagues and the productivity and service delivery efficiency of the Institute. Consequently, I am, by this circular on behalf of the management, drawing the attention of the concerned staff and warning that such ugly, unproductive, disruptive and image damaging behaviour be stopped forthwith or punitive action would be taken against them for continued indulgence,” he added.
He regretted and drew the attention of the staff to desist from such an unproductive behaviour or else they could be punished.
The Circular also drew the attention of the Directors of the Institute to take notice of such staff.
